I wanted to choose a bridesmaids dress that the girls were happy with and one they'd hopefully be able to wear again. Davina and I went shopping and the dress we ended up selecting was one of the first she tried on. The dress is "Midnight" and it is made by Studibaker. We purchased the dresses from Brides of Piccadilly. Their service was excellent and they happily ordered in the right material so Natalie could get her dress made in London.

I don't like the whole "identical bridesmaid dress" idea. Dressing the same as your friends stopped being a novelty when primary school finished. However, I was told there had to be a link between the dresses so I wanted the girls to either wear different dresses in the same colour or the same dress in different colours. We went with the second option because the dress we decided on was so beautiful and luckily it came in a range of colours. We picked the colours we liked and voila... I had a colour scheme for the wedding. I really hope my bridesmaids get a chance to wear their dresses again. I'd love one myself; it came in a gorgeous, scarlet red. Somehow, I don't think Andrew will let me spend $200 plus on a new dress, well not after our recent spending spree.

All my bridesmaids looked beautiful and elegant on the day. Everything was gorgeous... hair, make-up, dress, jewellery, shoes and the girls themselves, of course.
