So I've gone a bit crazy and decided to attempt Project 365 this year. Except this year is a leap year so technically it's Project 366. The idea is that you take a photo everyday for a year. I'm not going to take it too seriously. I'm just going to take photos on my iPhone. Every now and again I'll post them on FuShMuSh. I think it will be a nice chronicle of the year.

The 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year is a pretty special date. I thought I'd mark the occasion with a mini photo project. I decided to record my day in photos by taking a photo at eleven past the hour throughout the day. Keeping with the theme, there are 11 (plus 1) photos in the series.

7:11 -- Evie is our little alarm clock. She is up at 6am everyday. Andrew and I sometimes take turns to have a sleep in. One of us will get up and look after Evie while the other catches up on some much needed sleep. It was Andrew's turn this morning. Unfortunately he still has to get up and go to work so Evie and I went to wake him up at 7am.
8:11 -- Evie is in her cot for her first nap of the day. While Evie naps I try to get stuff done that I can't do while she's awake. I'm also becoming very good at multitasking. Here I am eating breakfast and drinking a much needed coffee while editing photos on my laptop.
9:11 -- Evie is still asleep. Yay! I use the time to make some Mars Bar slice for a BBQ the next day.
10:11 -- Evie is up from her nap so we're off to hang out with some ladies and bubs from Mothers' Group. We often go for a walk on Fridays. Today we decided we were too tired for a walk and instead headed to check out the Magic Yellow Bus (a mobile toy library) in Johnson Park.

11:11 -- Check out the pram parking for the Magic Yellow Bus. Evie and I have fun hanging out in the park with Heather + Euan, Andrea + Zoe and Kay + Tilly. Evie is a little young to play with the toys from the Magic Yellow Bus but she does enjoy chewing on them. It's a great way to spread the germs.
12:11 -- This is a reverse of the photo from 10am. I'm running a little late for Evie's middle of the day nap. She usually goes down at around midday for a catnap.
13:11 -- Now that I'm finished uni for the semester I have more time for fun stuff. Instead of having to do uni work while Evie naps I can now do some sewing or baking. I've decided to start a tradition of making (or maybe buying) a Christmas ornament for Evie each year. I've finished Evie's but thought I'd make a matching one for Audrey too. This is my Christmas ornament in progress.
14:11 -- Evie is still napping so I'm still sewing (and watching Glee). Yay!

15:11 -- Evie is up! I keep Evie entertained by letting her watch me do housework. I've nicknamed this the "Watch Mummy hang out the laundry" show. Evie finds it very exciting.
16:11 -- The laundry show has two acts. This is the second half of the show which is "Watch Mummy put away the laundry". I put the laundry away while Evie happily plays with Piglet on the bed.
17:11 -- Evie fits in another catnap. It's been so hot lately so I've been letting Evie nap in the bouncer in the living room. I help Evie to sleep by rocking the bouncer with my foot.
19:11 -- Evie is asleep for the evening. Andrew was out tonight and I was so busy with the feed / bath / feed routine that I forgot to get a photograph at 6:11pm. Now that Evie is asleep it's time to make dinner. We then watch a little bit of TV and relax before going to bed at 9:30pm.

So far the weather in November has been pretty miserable. It's been rainy day followed by rainy day followed by yet another rainy day. Poor Andrew is yet to play Ultimate Frisbee this season. The season started 4 weeks ago and each Monday it has been cancelled because of the wet weather.
As soon as I saw the forecast for last weekend, I knew that I wanted to squeeze in a visit to Clovelly. They were forecasting sunshine and temperatures in the low 30s. I'm of the opinion that you have to snorkel while the sun shines.
So, on Saturday morning, we got up early, picked up Mum and headed to Clovelly. It was just our typical Clovelly itinerary. We sat on the promenade, basked in the sun and chatted for a while. We are a bit like lizards and will only brave the water after we reach a certain temperature. The water on Saturday was a bit too cold for my liking (19 degrees) and I almost didn't make it all the way. But, you can't go to Clovelly and not swim. So I got in the water, hyperventilated from the cold for a bit and then got out about 2 minutes later.
Saturday was the first test for our new point and shoot camera. We recently bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2. The camera is part of their tough range and is waterproof up to 10 metres. Andrew got some great photos of the fish at Clovelly. I'm really happy with the quality of the photos. They look like photos taken in an aquarium.
