Echo echooooooooooooooo!
Is anybody still reading? Sorry it's been a bit quiet around here. I've been busy trying to finish my final uni subject while also looking after Evie. It doesn't leave much time for fun computer stuff. And my life for the foreseeable future isn't going to get any less busy. I start a 6-week prac next week at a local primary school (I'm quietly freaking out about this... well, not so quietly. The whole separation anxiety thing works both ways.)
I'm going to try to squeeze in a few posts before I start my prac next week but realistically this might be it. I'm also trying to think of an idea for posting while I'm on prac. Something to fill this space which takes minimal effort. I'l let you know what I come up with.
In the meantime, here are some photos from our recent visit to Kiama. We had a lovely day with the Kleemanns to celebrate Linda's birthday. Before lunch we walked down to Easts beach so the kids could have a quick dip. It's a place from my childhood. We used to spend summer hols at the caravan park which is next to the shore. I'd forgotten what a lovely beach it is, sheltered with almost no rips or sweeps. It's also hard to get to unless you know how so it's rarely crowded.
Leo, Damian and TD all went in for a swim. TD gave Damian some lessons on how to bodysurf. Spencer and Emily were happy just paddling on the shore. Evie and Audrey just hung around with Andrew and Annie (heh, in the baby björns... geddit!). I can't wait until Evie is big enough to enjoy the beach. Maybe next summer.

Some photos are now up from our family gathering in Kiama last weekend (photos). I haven't posted any recent photos of my other favourite boy and Princess Emily. Thought everyone would appreciate an update:
- Oscar was very excited to blow bubbles using the bubble gun. He'd blow bubbles and then gleefully watch them float away and excitedly yell, "BUBBLES!!!". There were a few mishaps though, a couple of times he dipped the gun in the detergent and then put the soapy end in his mouth. There was much spluttering and spitting.
- Princess Emily is very excited that she is coming to watch our wedding ceremony. Apparently she is going to wear a pink dress and shiny blue shoes. When Emily gets married she wants to wear a pink wedding dress. She thinks I should wear a red wedding dress because red is my favourite colour.
- Apparently Oscar now knows who the boss is in the Bell household. The other day Annie told Oscar to do something and when he asked why she said, "because I'm the boss!". Richie agreed and said, "That's right, Oscar. Daddy isn't even the boss! Mummy is the boss!". Now Oscar often repeats to himself "Okkie the boss? Nooooo!... Daddy the boss? Nooooo!... Mummy the boss? YES!!!".
