Happy Birthday Hannah and Sarah
This year, on May 26th, Hannah and Sarah turned 4. Happy Birthday Hannah and Sarah!
In keeping with my "hand-made gifts for the twins" tradition, this year I made a pencil roll for each girl. I filled each pencil roll with textas and pencils. Each texta and pencil has been inscribed with either Hannah's or Sarah's name, in the hope that it may stop any arguments over who owns what.
I had been a little concerned that the gift was a little old for a four year old, and may not be fully appreciated by the girls. But, my fears were unfounded. As soon as they had unwrapped their presents, Hannah and Sarah were keen to start drawing with their new textas and pencils. They showed us how they can now write their names. Sarah also drew a self-portrait and told us "I am drawing very long legs for me because now I am four."

Sarah's favourite colours are red and purple. For the outside of her pencil roll, I used a beautiful purple Japanese fabric decorated with red flowers. I lined the inside with a plain purple fabric. Sarah's pencil roll is bound with a glossy magenta ribbon. The roll is tied and sealed with the same magenta ribbon and a velcro fastener.
Hannah's favourite colours are green and rainbow. For the outside of her pencil roll, I used a gorgeous yellow fabric decorated with colourful flowers and butterflies. I lined the inside with a plain green fabric. Hannah's pencil roll is bound with a glossy gold ribbon. The roll is tied and sealed with the same gold ribbon and a velcro fastener.
