I think I set the bar a little too high last year when I made the twins' birthday present. I didn't think I had enough time to make something this year but I couldn't find anything that I liked in the shops to buy them as a present. Luckily I found this great towel cape idea on LJC. Saturday was spent in a frenzy of sewing to get the towel capes completed for the party on Sunday. I'm rather happy at the way they turned out. Although, after 4 hours of sequin sewing I don't want to see another sequin again for a while! And maybe they are a little too long, we overestimated the twins' height.
