Cocktail of the Month

March's cocktail of the month is Devil in Disguise from Kuletos in Newtown. It's "fresh strawberries blended with coffee Liquer, strawberry Liquer, coconut and cream". Tastes like a cherry ripe (which is kind of strange considering it doesn't have cherry in it *g*).

Last night was our monthly Bookcrossing cocktail evening. We had a smaller turnout than last month but we still had just as much fun! We've made it one of our aims to try and eat at a different King St restaurant each month. Last night we tried Circulate Café, which receives a 1-star rating from the BC crowd. The service was atrocious, the waitress came back 3 times for further clarification on our order and in the end they still got it wrong. When the food arrived they'd completely missed Sue's meal. The food was average too, my "medium" steak was almost black and very chewy.

Last month at Cocktails I was lamenting the lack of a King St Gelateria. Now there are two, Ice + Slice and Gelatomassimo and there is a third, Dolce and Gelato, opening soon. Now we can end our Cocktail evenings with a scoop of Gelato. Yum, a near perfect evening!
