Trivia: Saint Badger of the Cross

A return to form at this month's trivia outing. We placed 2nd and walked away with a $30 voucher. We've been pooling our vouchers and we now have a significant pot. We'll have to have an end of year celebration and spend all our vouchers (on hot chips!).

Our name this week was in tribute to Australia's newest saint, St Mary of the Cross. We were a bit worried about adverse reactions from Catholic trivia goers, but we walked away unscathed. The Badgers bless you!
  1. What C is the currency of Nicaragua and the name of a city in Spain?

  2. Alexandra Croak is the first Australian to win Commonwealth Gold in two different sports. What are the two sports?

  3. Which French designer was the first to use black models on the catwalk?

  4. Which country is bigger in area? Ireland or Iceland?

  5. What fruit is used as a garnish on the dish Veronique?

You know the rules...

Tough ones! I have NO idea one 2,3 and 5. I'm going to guess Cacares for #1 because we went there. I'm going to guess Iceland for #4.
